We need some volunteers to help here, we have a rota system that  gives an opportunity to cook and/or deliver at least once a month. The essence of the service is not only the lovely home cooked food but the chance to have a few minutes of conversation with those that we serve. If you are able to help with delivery of food or cooking then please contact Jagdishbhai at the information desk.

We ask that you make some ceilings on your desires and with money saved we can buy the items to send to Croatia. 1. Amazing on what you have achieved in getting this far with the great start on Janmastmi at our new home. A sincere thanks to all those who have spent many nights and days to get this journey started here. We want to make Swami feel proud of us that we are fit for the organisation that he has been given to us for our transformation. Last week we helped in moving the Sathya Sai School from Belper street to this building and they will start organising the class room over the next few weeks. The first phase of this unique project has completed much more earlier than planned with Swami's grace and we begin to look at the next steps which will be focused now on improvements. In October 1997, the National Youth Co-ordinating Committee, successfully launched the Sathya Sai Leadership Training Programme (SSLTP) as a direct implementation of the First World Youth Conference resolutions. Since then six cohorts with a total of 60 candidates have successfully graduated and completed the programme. Following the success of the programme, over the past 12 years, it has been decided that another intake will be accepted in 2009. Hence, this is another golden opportunity for those interested in self-development and acquiring leadership skills to enrol on the programme. Those interested are invited to apply by completing the attached application form, which will assist us with the selection process. As you can appreciate, a great deal of time and effort has been expended in the preparation and delivery of this course and so candidates should be dedicated and committed individuals who are prepared to accept responsibility for their own learning. Candidates should realise that their success in this programme is important to the long-term future of the UK Sai Organisation and with this in mind all candidates are expected to complete the programme. The programme takes the form of a 14-month modular type course of one-day workshops, projects, assignments and outward bound activity weekends to consolidate learning. Members of the Organisation, whose professional background is related to that particular module, will facilitate each module. The emphasis is very much on the individual to initiate successful learning and development. The minimum age for applicants on this course is 21 years of age. This is to ensure that potential candidates bring the necessary level of maturity to approach the course and its demands without hopefully having concerns with other educational studies. The enrolment needs to be completed by September. Please see the board for details or speak to any Committee Member.
